Cheer Comp Updates

So #1 had another cheer competition last weekend. They were up against three other teams. One beat them the weekend before, one is their rivals and they have never competed against the other before...at least I don't think so. Anyway, they did AWESOME! They hit every stunt and had no drops. All of us were expecting 1st place...they got 3rd. THIRD?!?! WTH?! The team that beat them the weekend before got 1st again and their rivals got 2nd. After awards, us cheer moms were complaining to each other when one mom said that one of the judges was from their rival team. That explains it!! So not fair. Especially when that judge rates the dance part of the routine super low and the other two said they did awesome. They got the scores and saw that 1st through 3rd were all a point off from each other. So it was super close.
